Do you have an old photo that has seen better days,
of a loved one or long-gone family member?

Modern computer technology can do amazing things
to salvage even badly damaged photographs.

For example, look at this image:

Pretty lady, cute baby - 1920's vintage. But the picture has been pretty badly abused.

There is a serious crack in the upper left corner, and there are two major pieces of the
emulsion that have been torn off. The print has also been badly stained.

Now look at the restored version:

Notice that although it is a black and white image, we have retained a slight tone. In the antique
business, this kind of thing is called "patina" and we think it adds a nice character to the photo.
